Description
This is the first PDE Winter School planned to be held annually in the South West Region. The event begins midday on Friday 12th December and finishes late afternoon on Saturday 13th December. The programme includes
- 3 hour mini-course on "Analytic aspects in spatial segregation for competition systems" by Susanna Terracini (Milan)
- Lecture on "Nonlinear wave equations and singularity formation" by Pierre Raphael (Toulouse)
- Lecture on "Vortices in the Ginzburg-Landau model of superconductivity" by Sylvia Serfaty (Courant & Universite Pierre et Marie Curie)
- Talks from students and postdocs
- Poster sessions
