The Graduate Seminar for Mathematics in Business and Industry is a seminar series where we invite mathematicians working in industry to come explain their work to a graduate-level audience. This gives us the opportunity to learn about the way in which industry utilizes mathematical models and gives us an insight into research environments outside of university.
