ABSTRACT
This talk will present the results of the last five months of my internship. After an introduction to open and closed fully chaotic systems, I will explain my numerical investigations on a specific map, the triadic Baker Map. Because we can't understand what happens from this, we study a model system, the Walsh Baker Map, which we can handle analytically. This leads to matching numeric and analytical results, from which we can learn why there is nothing like the Fractal Weyl Law in partially open systems.
