Research Laboratories
The four Research Laboratories at Bristol bring together a rare combination of top theoreticians and empiricists from many disciplines from within the mathematics department and throughout the University. By such collaboration, the sharing of problems and insights, the greatest advances in understanding can be achieved.
The Research Laboratories offer an interdisciplinary approach to subjects as diverse as quantum information and animal behaviour, can call on the considerable computing resources of the Laboratory for Advanced Computations in the Mathematical Sciences (LACMS), and draws on members from multiple departments across the University.
