Wireless communication networks
Supervisor: Carl Dettmann
Theme: Complex Systems
What happens if you place communication devices ("nodes") randomly, and ask if they can all communicate with each other, given a (typically probabilistic) rule for whether any pair can connect? How does this depend on the shape of the domain? How can you use this information to design reliable networks? This project involves collaboration with Toshiba research labs in Bristol.
