Funding

There are a range of funding opportunities for UK and overseas students.

Studentships

The School has studentship places available for students from the United Kingdom or the European Union, funded through the Department's Doctoral Training Awards (DTAs) from the Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council (EPSRC).

There is no need to apply separately for the EPSRC DTA, University of Bristol Scholarships, or SuSTaIn awards. In the Funding section of your application, please indicate which award you are interested in. Note that applying for an EPSRC DTA award comes under the heading of 'I would like to be considered for a funding award from the Department (if one is available)' - and select the option 'not yet applied for a scholarship'.
