Large networks like the Internet are not
designed from the ground up, but grow out of the addition of (millions
of) computers. How does the infrastructure need to scale with the
growth of the system? Answering such questions might involve coming up
with probabilistic models of network formation and growth, and
analysing the structural properties of networks generated by such
models.
