Brunel Postdoctoral Fellow

I work in the School of Mathematics at the University of Bristol. I'm part of the Statistics Group and my fellowship is funded by SuSTaIn. I completed my PhD in 2011.

I first arrived in Bristol as a maths undergraduate in 2001. Between then and now I've also worked and studied at ALSPAC and at UNSW in Sydney. You can find out more by viewing my CV or reading my history.

My research

I work on nonparametric regression and image denoising. Roughly speaking I try to find simple functions that approximate data. My other research interests include dietary patterns, epidemiology and longitudinal modelling. There is more information, and some publications, on my research page.

Teaching

I teach a first year tutorial and second year computer lab. More information.
