Hello and welcome to my homepage!
I am a 2nd year Mathematics PhD student at Bristol University.
My supervisors are Professor Jon Keating, FRS and Dr Francesco Mezzadri.
Research Interests
I am in the Mathematical Physics group here at Bristol..
Mathematical physics aims to describe the world around us using simplified models which capture the fundamental processes behind what is observed. It uses Maths to describe Physics.
My current research is concerned with Statistical Mechanics and Random Matrix Theory. In particular I am looking at phase transitions. A phase transition is when one phase of matter changes into another. I am especially interested in the remarkable behaviour of properties of systems at the particular point when the phase transition occurs, the critical point.
Activities
I am running a seminar series entitled "Mathematical Physics and Beyond" which I would like to encourage anyone to attend and present at. The aim is to promote new connections in Mathematics and Physics. For more details visit the website.
I am also running a Random Matrix Theory reading group, get in touch if you are interested in joining us!.
