I am a PhD student here at the University of Bristol in the School of Mathematics. My work is in a field of Mathematics and Physics called Quantum Chaos which seeks to explore the effects of classical chaos in quantum mechanics. For more specifics please visit my research page.
Short Biography
A little bit about myself. I am originally from the outskirts of Leicester, a city situated in the English midlands. In 2008 I completed a 4-year undergraduate masters course in Mathematical Physics at the University of Nottingham. Here I became interested in semiclassical quantum theory, which in short aims to approximate certain predictions from quantum mechanics using the classical tools of Lagrangian and Hamiltonian mechanics. From there I came to Bristol in order to pursue these interests further, I am currently in my 3rd year as a PhD student and aim to finish around the end of 2012.
