LaTeX
Students often ask for help getting started with LaTeX for mathematical typesetting. For general advice, see Andrew Smith's guide to LaTeX. I have also emailed the files in the following zipfile to numerous people to get them started. If you wish to produce UoB style slides using LaTeX you could use my template. This is modelled on the university style guidelines.
