Gary Chandler

I'm currently doing a post-doc placement at the University of Bristol, Department of Mathematics under the Supervision of Prof. Rich Kerswell. My main area of research at Bristol is applying dynamical systems theory to turbulent systems with many degrees of freedom.

My PhD was at the University of Cambridge, department of Engineering under the supervision of Dr. Matthew Juniper. The title of my PhD thesis is "Sensitivity analysis of low-density jets and flames" and has particular relavance to aircraft fuel injector design. A link to the final submitted draft is here.
