Who is Idris Eckley?
I am currently a Visiting Fellow within the Statistics group at the University of Bristol. This role permits me to continue with the research interests which I developed during the course of my Ph.D. These include:
· Wavelet methods for time series and spatial data.
· Data Mining and Classification techniques.
· Change-point analysis.
I now work as a member of the Statistics & Risk business group at Shell Global Solutions. My work as a consultant statistician is quite varied, ranging from Research & Development of cutting edge techniques to 3rd party consultancy and statistical training.
