Restaurants

Zerodegrees is a local microbrewery that doubles as a pizza restaurant.

Mamma Mia's is cheap italian - house wine served in jugs!

Oz Restaurant is Turkish with friendly service.

Krishna's Inn is South Indian.

The Thali Cafe has roughly four things on the menu - one vegan, one vegetarian, two for meat-eaters.

The Clifton Sausage does sausages. Somehow classier than it sounds!

Brunel Raj is curry.

Rajmoni is curry.

Bangkok House is Thai.

Pubs

Zerodegrees fits here too.

Quinton House is small, relaxed and nearby.

As is The Eldon House

The Victoria is VERY small, quite fun, and with vastly varying beer quality.

The Ship Inn used to be run by Australians, and still plays a lot of Nick Cave.

The Highbury Vaults is very particular about its beer.

The Robin Hood tends to have a lot of good American beers in bottles and on draft.

The Kingsdown Wine Vaults sometimes has live music, and is nice regardless.

In the town centre, The King William is a Sam Smith's pub. So cheap, but also decent.

The Hope and Anchor does decent pub food and has a nice outdoors.
