General Lectures, 2001-2002


The mathematics department is putting on a series of lectures for a general audience. Some lectures will discuss recent research, at an elementary mathematical level. Others will deal with classical problems and ideas in mathematics. Both pure mathematics and its applications will be included.

All members of the University are welcome. The lectures are at 12.10 pm on Mondays in the Powell lecture theatre, G42, Physics.
