Overview
The primary goal of this workshop was to stimulate further interaction
between Diophantine and algebraic geometers.
The main themes of the
meeting were:
- classical algebraic geometry
- Hasse principle and weak approximation
- higher-dimensional Minimal Model Programme
- density of integral and rational points
- rational connectedness
There was a registration fee of £60 for attending the
conference, which included the cost of the conference dinner.
A reduced fee of £40 was available to graduate students.
This workshop was sponsored by the Heilbronn Institute and took place at the
School of Mathematics in the
University of Bristol.
Partial funding is available for UK graduate students thanks to the London Mathematical Society.
