New Students
The MINGLE conference is intentionally placed at the beginning of the academic year in order to welcome new postgraduate students to the department. In addition to providing one of the earliest (and best) opportunities to meet your future colleagues, it also acts as an excellent introduction to the research going on in each of the groups.
Although MINGLE is organised by postgrads, it acts as a semi-official part of the maths department's induction process, and so we hope that all of the new students will attend.
First year postgraduates starting in September will receive information about MINGLE over the summer. However if you're reading this, feel free to register straight away! Just click on the registration tab and fill in your details. See you at MINGLE!
