Prosper Related

• Prosper is a LaTeX class for writing transparencies.
• To generate .ps file use the following commands:  

$latex filename
$dvips filename

• To generate .pdf file use the following commands:

$latex filename
$dvips -t a4 filename
$ps2pdf filename.ps filename.pdf

Poster Related

• To generate .ps file use the following commands:

$latex filename
$dvips filename

• To generate .pdf file use the following commands:

$latex filename
$dvipdf filename

• To print A0 poster in letter use the following commands:
  

psnup -Pa0 -pletter -f in.ps out.ps

Tricks

• \indent. For the first paragraph in the section, \indent does not seem to work properly. In stead, \hspace{\parindent}  works well.
  
• The combination of bold and italic does not work. Try this: \textit \textbf{bold and italic} or \textsl \textbf{bold and italic}.
