"Seasonal dispersal of pests"

Many agricultural pests, such as aphids, are restricted to a finite season within which they must reproduce and disperse. The main aim of my work is to use theoretical models to predict the effect of this restriction on the dispersal behaviour of agricultural pests.

By doing this, the role of seasonality in shaping the evolution of dispersal can also be predicted, and better control methods may be devised.
