What does MINGLE stand for?
This was decided at MINGLE 2009, by popular vote, to be: Mathematicians, IN General, Like Equations. - Can I give a talk/poster?
In short - yes! We would love to hear from any postgraduate member of the department who wishes to give a short (15 minute) presentation about their research, or contribute a poster. For more information look at the Give a Talk page.
- How much does it cost to attend MINGLE?
Nothing - attending MINGLE is completely free for any member of the mathematics department.
- Then who pays for MINGLE?
MINGLE is kindly funded by the Maths department, using money from the Roberts fund, which itself was granted by RCUK.
- I'm not a postgraduate mathematics student at Bristol, can I attend?
Unfortunately not; we are unable to accept external applications.
