A pretty 3D knot (more specifically, link).

Greetings all... and welcome to my web page. Above is me (and my contact details) and at the top of the page are links to various other areas of this site (all self-explanatory).

I am a research fellow at Bristol University, having recently completed my PhD in Representation theory (see Publications). I have so far been at Bristol University for 8 years (as I was here for my undergrad too), so the School of Mathematics is much like home to me.

My research interests are in Representation theory, or more specifically, character theory (over characteristic zero fields) and representation theory of Hecke algebras. My supervisors for my PhD were Prof. Joe Chuang (City University London) and Prof. Jeremy Rickard (University of Bristol).

A 4D knot.

A hypercube (4D cube).

As you can probably tell from the images, I also have an interest in knot theory and topology... though this is more a hobby than serious research!!

At present I am working on a problem motivated by Artin's Conjecture and the Riemann Hypothesis and also exploring the representation theory of higher-level Fock spaces (see Research for more details).

I am normally quite busy and unpredictable, however I have a rough Timetable showing when I am NOT available. That said, if the "Last updated" is more than a month ago, it probably isn't that accurate anymore!!
