I am interested in all things representation theory, though my main interest is in the combinatorial representation theory of symmetric group algebras and their generalizations; for example, Iwahori-Hecke algebras and Ariki-Koike algebras. Most of my time in this area has been spent considering their decomposition numbers and attempting to produce explicit formula for them.
