I am a third year postgraduate research student in the School of Mathematics at the University of Bristol. I graduated from the University of Bristol with First Class MSci Honours in Mathematics with Statistics in summer 2010.

My research focuses on causal inference, a branch of statistics. See my Research page to learn a little more about it. My supervisor is Dr Vanessa Didelez.

For reference, my surname is pronounced /'hævɜrkrɒft/ ("have-er-croft"), NOT /'heɪvɜrkrɒft/ ("hay-ver-croft"). I blame Nigel Havers for the fact that everyone assumes the latter.
